Shore 104FM's 'Sounds of Summer' top ten!

A huge thank-you to the folks at Vancouver's the Shore 104FM radio station — they've included me in the top ten for their Sounds of Summer Song Search! It's an honor to have your work chosen from over 200 other talented BC songwriters, and I'm excited for the next few week's events leading up to their July 31st 'Official Sound of Summer' winner announcement. But here's where you come in:

I’ve never been comfortable getting into any type of contest that requires me to be the “Hey, vote for me” guy — but the truth is that there aren't many opportunities these days for musicians to have the type of career development that the Song Search offers. There are weekly classes, performances alongside the other top-ten finalists (including the Celebration of Light in English Bay), and a shot at winning $20K worth of studio time, gear, mentorship, and slots at the Burnaby Roots & Blues Festival in August.

This is where I need your help: the winner will be chosen from your votes. All it takes is twenty seconds of your time to vote right HERE. Voting opens today, and runs until July 30th. Thank you all for listening/reading/voting and sharing!
